At Garden Furniture Direct we want our customers to purchase from us with confidence and we understand that the delivery process is very important. Please see a breakdown of the delivery services we offer:
Delivery time will vary depending on the items ordered. Each individual product page has an estimated delivery time based on stock levels and availability. If you are ordering multiple items please use the longest delivery time for estimating delivery. If an item is ‘In Stock’, delivery is usually within 7-14 days. We constantly update our estimated delivery times. If an item is not available for despatch within the estimated dates we will contact you as soon as possible. If delivery time is a concern then please contact our sales team. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and excluded postcodes please add an extra two weeks to estimated delivery. It may be sooner depending on courier schedule.
For UK mainland deliveries once your item/items are ready to be despatched you will contacted within 2-3 days to arrange a date for delivery. A specific day and a 3 hour timeslot will be offered. The day offered for delivery will be scheduled in line with the delivery areas of the carrier and the route plans for your postcode area. If you are not available on the first suggested date our carriers will happily offer delivery for the following week etc. Please accept our apologies if the carriers’ route is not on the most suitable day for you.
For all deliveries it is important that you or someone you trust is there to receive the delivery. The majority of deliveries will be via our standard one man delivery service. Using this service allows us to keep delivery costs down which we pass on through our delivery policy. Wherever possible we will deliver your furniture to a room of your choice. However, delivery is only guaranteed to within your front door. The courier will not unwrap or assemble any items. You may be required to assist the driver with unloading items if they are particularly large or heavy. Should this be a problem please contact us to discuss our two man delivery service (at extra cost). Our furniture is generally delivered via a large van or lorry so please ensure your property is accessible for this size of vehicle. Should our couriers deem that access to your property is unsafe then goods will not be delivered and may incur a redelivery cost.
